Indications and Dosage
Ophthalmic
Dry eye Adult: As 1.4% solution: Instill 1-2 drops onto the affected eye(s) as often as necessary.
Child: Same as adult dose. |

Special Precautions
Children. Pregnancy and lactation.

Adverse Reactions
Eye disorders: Mild stinging or irritation of the eye, crusting of eyelid, eye pain, ocular hyperaemia, eye pruritus, foreign body sensation, eye discharge, increased lacrimation.

Patient Counseling Information
This drug may cause transient blurring of vision, if affected, do not drive or operate machinery. Remove contact lenses prior to ophthalmic administration and reinsert after 15 min.

Action
Description:
Mechanism of Action: Polyvinyl alcohol, a nonionic surfactant, is used as an ocular lubricant. It protects and lubricates mucous membrane surfaces of the eye thereby relieving dryness and irritation. It also increases the viscosity of the solution and prolongs contact time with the eye. |

Store between 20-25°C. Do not freeze.
